THE CHAMBER OF MINES
OF THE PHILIPPINES
is an association advancing the interest of mining, quarrying mineral processing companies for the efficient exploration, development and utilization of minerals in consonance with sound economic, environmental and social policies.
The association consists of members coming from exploration, mining, mineral processing and services industries including professional associations. The members are united by a shared commitment to the principles of economic growth, sustainable development and as government’s partners in development.

The Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) is a global standard ensuring transparency of revenues from natural resources. It is a multi-stakeholder initiative led by the government, industry and civil society representatives. EITI provides a platform to systematically report on, review, and assess what is being paid by companies and received by governments through a system of bilateral disclosures.
The Chamber of Mines of the Philippines is a member of the Multi-Stakeholder Group (MSG) of the Philippines – Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (PH-EITI). The MSG leads the implementation of EITI in the country.
