The fact is developing countries are at the forefront of adapting and implementing renewable energy plans.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Philippines is one of the leading countries with a healthy energy mix. Renewable energy resources \u2014 which include geothermal, hydropower, biomass, solar and wind \u2014 accounted for 25% of the country\u2019s power generation mix in 2017. Renewable energy-based facilities generated 23.19 million megawatt-hours (MWh) in 2017, up by 5.5% from 2016\u2019s 21.98 million MWh.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The future of renewable energy is bright. And did you know that mining plays an important role in harnessing power plants that generate renewable energy?
